Easter Basket Ideas for Kids
This post is a little last minute but at least I got it out before Easter.
I thought I would share some ideas to fill your kids Easter baskets. I usually stick to the same type of things each year: a shirt, dress or pj’s, some outdoor items for Spring, a couple small toys, a book, and of course chocolate!
For Girls:
Favourite Character Tee: Everly is loving LOL dolls right now
Shoes: She loved her jelly shoes from Old Navy last year, so I got her a similar pair from there (in a bigger size) for this year
Outdoor Play: Skipping rope, Sidewalk chalk and a Bubble gun
Accessiories: Hair clips and a new book
Chocolate: Mini Eggs, Chocolate marshmallow, Smarties
Toys: Barbie or some other smal figurine
For Boys:
Favourite Character Tee: Maxton is big into
Fortnite right now
Shoes: Sandals for the summer (Old Navy has a great and affordable selection)
Outdoor Play: Mini basketball, Sidewalk paint and Bubble Gun
Accessories: An analog watch (encourage learning to tell time) and a new book
Chocolate: Mini Eggs, Chocolate marshmallow, Smarties
I always do an Easter egg hunt for the kids (which they probably love the most), along with a few other traditions my Mom did with my sisters and I as kids. It’s so much fun carrying on traditions.
